There's a little girl crying in a corner,
Bullied into tears.
There's a little girl crying in a corner,
Her dreams all turned to fear.
There's a little girl crying in a corner,
Afraid of human love.
There's a little girl crying in a corner,
And she just wants to be found.
All this pain, all these tears
All these "no tomorrows".
Who says we'll make it past today
And still be alive and well tomorrow?
Five years later....
There's a big girl crying in the corner,
Cause dreams of bullying turned to rape.
There's a big girl crying in the corner,
She's already had her heart break.
There's a big girl crying in the corner,
A hole in her heart from the one she loves
This big girl crying in the corner
Wants so badly to give up.
All this pain, all these tears
All these "no tomorrows".
Who says we'll make it past today
And still be alive and well tomorrow?
Four years later....
There's a woman crying in the corner,
She's been given everything and can't give back.
There's a woman crying in the corner,
She wants her freedom back.
There's a woman crying in the corner
Who knows she must learn to face her fears.
And the woman crying in the corner
Makes herself numb and holds back tears.
All this pain, all these tears.
All these "no tomorrows".
Who ever said we'll make it past today
And be alive and well tomorrow?
There's a little girl crying in a corner...
She's a big girl crying in a corner....
A woman crying in a corner....
They just want to be free.
